Over the years, as an industry we have taken a responsible approach to get UPR product range compliant with the current legislation and implemented proactive initiatives to make sure that safe use of UP / VE Resins is properly communicated through the whole Supply Chain..
The CEFIC UP / VE RESINS Group has developed UP / VE RESINS Safe Handling Guides. These guides address the key health, safety and environmental issues associated with the storage and processing of raw materials in the UP/VE resin industry. This includes advice and guidance to ensure good housekeeping when using UP resins, as well as specific recommendations on styrene exposure and abatement, Personal Protective equipment (PPE), and legislation governing UP resins in the EU.
